Hey there Paw Washers, my name is Perry Quigley, and I am the owner of The Paw Wash, a bustling pet salon in Lake County, OH. Over the past 12 years I have been learning to master the art of pet grooming.
Since I was a child, I've been fascinated with animals and have always had a gaggle of pets surrounding me. From fish to reptiles and even livestock, I’ve always managed to be influenced by or involved in some sort of pet care. When I was a teenager, I joined 4-H which started my confirmation ring experience. Riding horses has always been a huge drive for me and there's a lot of close relation to showing horses and dogs.
As a young groomer, I had mentors with very high expectations which made me work even harder to be not only a great service provider, but one that was set apart. Being a leader has always come naturally to me; most of the time I'm shy but around pets I feel most in my element.
When I was introduced to pet grooming I initially started out as a receptionist which led me to gain an agile response to customers' needs. Following endless paperwork and customer demands I finally started taking clients of my own as a pet bather. Once I established a good rapport to my leadership, training groomers shortly ended up being my destiny.

With over 12 years of grooming experience, Perry's passion for animals began in childhood, caring for a variety of pets from fish to livestock. His journey into grooming started as a receptionist, where he quickly developed a keen understanding of customer needs. He soon transitioned to taking on clients as a pet bather, working under mentors with high standards that pushed him to excel. Now, Perry leads and educates other groomers, sharing his expertise while actively competing at trade shows to refine his craft.
