Helping Pets Get Adopted — One Grooming Job at a Time

PetEdge is proud be a sponsor of the second annual Wag N’ Tails Mobile Grooming for A Cause Event. 

Held each October to coincide with the ASPCA’s National Adopt A Shelter Pet Month, the Mobile Grooming for a Cause program encourages Wag N’ Tails mobile groomers to donate their time to groom shelter dogs.

Providing shelter dogs with a free grooming job can help to treat common skin and coat issues such as mats and tangles. These issues are often worse in shelter dogs if they’ve been neglected by their former owners.

A new grooming job also helps a pet look their best when potential adopters come in for a visit.

The Wag N’ Tails mobile groomer who grooms the most shelter dogs this month will receive a $5,000 grand prize.

PetEdge is donating the second and third place prizes (a $300 and $150 merchandise gift certificates), plus we’re giving a free gift bag to every groomer who participates in the program.

We’re happy to do our part to support this program and promote the cause of pet adoption.
