Instructions for use: Condition and prepare the dog or cat's coat and skin by spraying a small amount of leave-in conditioner on the coat before brushing.

• With short, slow strokes, brush the animal from the neck to the tail in the direction the coat grows.
• If tangles or knots are found in the dog's coat, work on them individually with the brush. Remember to use short, gentle strokes to untangle.
• Once you have brushed the dog's back from neck to tail, continue the same method with the sides and stomach. Be sure to pause and untangle any tangles or mats with the buffing brush.
• Hair clippers. If tangles of hair are found that the brush cannot pull out with a gentle tug, it will be advisable to cut them with a cutter.
• Face. Because the brush has metal prongs, use with caution on the face. It can also be used on long beards and tangles can be brushed out without fear of damaging the skin
